WELCOME TO BANFF
The final installment of our Heritage Departures collections was inspired by a place that’s far from home but near to our heart.
“Our family trip to Banff is one of those experiences that had an indelible impact on me,” said Double D Ranch designer, Cheryl McMullen. “There was a beauty and an essence to that area that resonated with me, and I think I always knew I would channel that into design at some point. I’m extremely pleased with and proud of the Banff collection; it brought to life some design dreams that I’ve had for a long time, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way.”
The famously luxurious Canadian ski town was the impetus for an equally luxurious holiday collection full of luxe leathers, rich velvets, and for the first time, cashmere. The embroidery is exquisite, the embellishments are eye-catching, and the color palette is simplified and sophisticated, featuring warm browns, greyed blues, and soft whites, reminiscent of a snowy winter day. Banff introduces new bedding, holiday décor, and exciting additions to our Turquoise Travel Series.

Cheryl, although I’m not on Facebook, I was able to watch the tape of the collection launch. I loved the excellent close-up photography that showed all the extraordinary details of the sparkle fringe on the jacket, the beading on tops and the overall exquisite detail you designed into each piece. I continue to be amazed by your creativity in expression for each collection that comes along, as well as how that vision gets faithfully translated onto each garment. You are amazing! Thank you for all the energy and effort in bringing these gorgeous clothes to life, and thanks to all at Double D for their efforts too, without which the dreams wouldn’t be fulfilled and hanging in our closets. Great job!! Congratulations!
