Replace that stress with gratitude. Easier said than done, of course, but remember how empty our houses and how lonely our holidays felt last year and rejoice in the fact that you get to cook for a bunch of people and wrap a jillion presents you’ll actually get to see them open this year.
Celebrate like it’s going out of style. Don’t let anyone tell you that your tree is up too early or your décor is too much or that your wrapping is over the top. Feel free to go all out this year, you’ve earned it. Or don’t, and make it simple but significant. There’s no wrong way to holiday.
