SAVE THE DATE: JACK’S ON TV

By now, most of you know Cheryl’s son, Jack Matusek – at least virtually. Well, he truly is a ‘Jack of all trades’ and in addition to being Cheryl’s right-hand man, a DDR road warrior for both sales and shoots, and the head honcho at the Hand House, Jack is also a chef and classically trained butcher. He’s been all over the world in his culinary adventures, and now he can add ‘television’ to the list of places cooking has taken him: Jack’s gonna be on CHOPPED!

As you probably know, the episodes are filmed in Knoxville well in advance, so I just want y’all to pause for a moment and reflect on JUST HOW LONG CHERYL HAS HAD TO KEEP THIS A SECRET! We’re a little bit surprised she didn’t spontaneously combust. If she didn’t have at least her sisters to talk to about it, she sure might’ve.

Speaking of her sisters, you know everything with the McMullens is a family affair – and a competitive one at that – so Aunt Audie took over Jack’s “training”, preparing him a series of surprise ingredient baskets that he had to incorporate into a dish somehow! As you might imagine, some comedy ensued and honestly, these little practice rounds might’ve been more entertaining than the actual episode will be!

Anyway, we know this has nothing to do with DDR or clothes, but we’re all just so excited and proud of Jack and we consider the Wolf Pack family, so we really wanted to share this momentous occasion with y’all! So, if you’re able, tune in to the Food Network on Tuesday, May 24th at 8 p.m. Central and let’s all watch together!
