For once, we don’t mean Hedy and her own brand of hilarious humor that keeps us doubled over in laughter – “in stitches”, if you will. No, this time, we’re talking a little more literally. The Shop at Round Top is offering custom chain stitching on your new DDR!
“Round Top has a lot of very cool elements – the boot room, the neon sign, the hand-painted floor,” Cheryl said. “But this might be my favorite. I just think it’s really cool, very unique. Actually, I know it’s unique, because I now know how hard it is to find a chain-stitcher!”
Wait, so what exactly are we talking about? Well, we’re going to have a chain-stitcher on site in the Round Top store to customize pieces for our customers. Think vintage bandanas with your name on it, denim jackets with your initials, a tote with your nickname – all done right there while you shop!
“When we offered this at the Addiction Meetup on the souvenir tote bags, people went wild for it,” Cheryl said. “It’s something we’re very excited about being able to offer consistently. I think it adds to the whole ‘mercantile’ experience. You know that we Southern gals like to monogram anything that doesn’t move, and chain stitching is the quintessential Western touch!”
