Trophy buckles are a time-honored tradition in the Western world and in the last half century they have become more and more widely appreciated for their aesthetic appeal than their earned accolades – they’ve become just as coveted as accessories as they are awards.

Fortunately, by way of extraordinary artisan Shawna Erickson, a longtime friend of the family and of the brand, you can dress the part of a decorated rodeo winner without ever making the effort in the arena. Her signature style of silversmithing is ornate engraving complemented by detailed dimensional depictions of livestock or buckle-banner style scripts, a la the Best Dressed Cowgirl scarf slide she commissioned custom for the Cowgirls collection based on inspo Cheryl provided from an old trophy buckle she found. Shawna also has a knack for creating cuffs that wear well with Western couture. We’re thrilled to be a part of this creative collaboration and excited to unveil other exclusive custom creations in the near future!
