Sure, people are wearing it year-round now, but let’s be honest – when the temperature drops, you know it’s suede season. And this year, you can expect to see a lot of it. From jackets and boots to belts and bags, this perennial favorite is showing up in all shapes, sizes, and colors. One of the benefits of suede is its versatility. It can be as “statement” or as subtle as you want. In the more neutral tones and blacks, it’s an excellent seasonal staple for boots and belts. In a more unexpected hue (like, say, frosted sage – see page 2), it becomes the fashion focus. Another benefit? Fringe. This material was practically made for fringing and that added element can really elevate the dimensionality of garments and accessories alike. Plus, it’s just so soft.

Suede reminds me of being a teen in the 60’s. Fringe made it even better.
