Oscar Betz has long been known for his signature chandelier earrings. He mastered the art of creating tiered dangles that were hinged and lightweight and they became instantly recognizable and synonymous with his name, “Oscar obvious”, if you will. But even a master of his craft gets an artist’s itch to try something new every now and then.

“The great thing about working with a creative genius like Oscar is that rather than commissioning him, we get to truly collaborate with him,” Cheryl explained. “We can come up with a vague idea and he can execute it with complete creative freedom. And other times, the ideas and creations are entirely his own. These silver snake pins were something he felt compelled to create, and we instantly loved them; it was just fortuitous that they happened to coincide with the Grand Canyon collection.”
