INTRODUCING: ADIRONDACKS

For the Adirondack collection, the inspiration was aspiration.

By definition, Double D Ranch is a western lifestyle brand, so it makes sense that the East Coast doesn’t commonly have a large presence in our design story. But we’ve long held an appreciation for the aesthetic.

“I’ve always had books on the Adirondacks and the Great Camps,” said Double D Ranch designer, Cheryl McMullen. “The architecture, the craftsmanship, the furnishings, even the lifestyle. It all seemed so foreign to me, growing up in a little dusty, hot South Texas town, so of course, I found it all intriguing and alluring. They built what they considered ‘cottages’, but were essentially these enormous architecturally rustic mansions constructed of knotty pines and field stone. It just all felt so grand, but very charming and playful at the same time, almost like a playhouse. Like Marjorie Merriweather Post, effortlessly elegant, but inviting. That was what I wanted to convey with this collection.”

Adirondacks, the third installment of the Heritage Departures collection, celebrates the richness of the region, literally and figuratively, in terms of wealth, beauty, and history. It features luxe velvets and furs, dimensional details, and Iroquois-inspired embellishments.

It’s aspirational East Coast vibes. It’s effortless elegance. It’s leisure in luxury.
