  • ICYMI: DESERT DESPERADOS LIVE LAUNCH

    March 08, 2023 1 min read 2 Comments

Talk about putting a “spring” in your step! The latest DDR collection, Desert Desperados, is full of vibrant hues, colorful characters, and feel-good fashion. If you missed the Facebook Live presentation (or just want to view it again!), you can watch as the McMullen sisters walk you through Desert Desperados, discussing the catalyst for the creative collaboration with collage artist Dolan Geiman, inspiration for the cast of characters, and how color is crucial this season. With some good-hearted humor peppered in, of course!

Such a beautiful collection! I love all of the bright colors! I definitely think the story of Dakoda would make a great children’s book. It reminds me of the Native American stories from the high school literature classes that I taught.

~ With each new season, I’m amazed at how DDR keeps getting better and better. From the collab with Dolan Geiman, the mix of colours and silhouettes, this collection is another winner. Kaylin, Lozzy and Quisha look great rockin’ their long braids—adding to that Mexican flair (the fishnet stockings and sombreros are a great touch). I wear cowgirl boots year round, therefore, with each new collection launch, I’m always looking for my next investment piece to incorporate into my cowgirl closet. Lastly, in photos of the Billy the Kid, I couldn’t help but notice how much slimmer y’all look. I almost didn’t recognise you and had to do a double take. Keep up the great work…it encourages women like me in my own workout journey. ~
