I don’t know about y’all, but we’ve had a LOT of fun with Midnight Cowboy. We’re almost sad to move on... ALMOST. Because we know what’s around the corner, and we’re chomping at the bit to share it with y’all!
If you’ve glimpsed the latest issue of Cowboys & Indians Magazine, you’ve already gotten a tiny taste of what to expect in Backwoods Barbie. It’s a BEAUTIFUL spring collection of florals and prairie prints, of faded sky blues and soft washed-out pinks, of nods to legendary ladies like Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton. It’s feminine and flirty, it’s soft and strong. It has undertones of a simpler time, when money was scarce and hand-me-downs were cherished and everyone was living on love and dreams. But it also celebrates achieving those dreams, those “made it” moments, and the freedom of style that comes with being proud of yourself.
We could go on and on, but we’ll save it for the launch!

~ When a company like DDR continues inspiring women like me, then you have a customer for life. Each time I visit your website, I leave inspired. Because of you, my closet has a western cowgirl theme complete with lots of DDR items. Model Kaylin Rogers and country singer Tanya Tucker have definitely inspired my personal style; one that resonates in my spirit. DDR is not just premiere clothing brand but a way of life. My husband, 2 cats and I live in the Shenandoah Mountains of West Virginia and live a rustic lifestyle so, seeing the Backwoods Barbie collection is like being in our backyard! Over the last few years, I discovered how much I L=O=V=E Old Gringo boots (I have 2 pairs). For 3 years, my eyes were glued to the Belinda boot and last summer I finally snagged a pair (in black). Besides the bling, they’re so comfortable to wear that I don’t want to take them off. The Backwoods Barbie boots and jacket (in Sky) have the bling I love and will be the next additions to my wardrobe. Thank you Cheryl McMullen and staff for keepin’ it fresh. Y’all never disappoint. ~
