Who is Gayle, you ask?

“Gayle is more of a ‘what’ and a ‘when’ than a ‘who’,” Cheryl explains. “It’s a time, an era, a look. It’s the rise of the TV Western, the glamorization of the cowgirl. It’s retro and sassy; it’s not overtly sexy, but it has a coquettish vibe to it. The colors are that cool mint and soft coral and black-and-white that takes you back to soda shops and mid-century diners. It kind of has that Gil Elvgren pinup feel, it celebrates women becoming ‘characters’ rather than decorations in small screen Westerns. It will feel nostalgic when you see it. ”

In continuing our “Closet Cocktails”, we will be premiering Gayle with Boozy Roy Rogers. Join us in the Double D Addiction group Thursday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m. CDT for a lighthearted half hour of cocktails and conversation with Audrey and Cheryl, and then at 7:30, we’ll transition into a Facebook Live line launch of the Gayle Collection with all the commentary and comedy you’ve come to expect from the McMullen sisters!
