  • Miscellaneous, Folk Art, Native American Bust, Buckskin, Tobacco Advertising, Antique, 1907, 807

This one is for the Tobacciana Collectors!

Our very own designer collects antique tobacco busts and 'BUCKSKIN" is elusive.  Crafted in polychrome chalk-ware, this commanding warrior stands a full 26 1/2" tall. Dating to 1907, this piece was originally set on a store counter and was charged with advertising tobacco products. This classic piece of folk art has a stern appearance and dons a series of layered necklaces including one of hairpipe and the other a peace medal.
