STUNNING STATEMENT BELT FOR THE COWGIRL COLLECTOR!

Crafted by the legendary (late) Zuni artisan Mike Simplicio, this bold belt buckle is a sterling silver shield ornately detailed with stampwork and applique, adorned with a pair of inlay horse heads in profile crafted with mother of pearl and tortoise shell and complemented by a trio of turquoise triangles. The vintage strap is a chic chocolate brown leather with traditional western foliage tooling. This belt is a collector’s item!

Mike Simplicio (1937-1976; Zuni). Active 1950s - 1970s. Nugget work; appliqué. The late Mike Simplicio shared marks with his wife Sarah Simplicio. Son of Dan Simplicio.
