    Fernando Lexington Golsch is known for his impressionist landscape paintings that often featured cowboys, and this is exactly that. An oil on masonite painting, it's typical of the artist's style and is even signed by him on the lower left. A great investment piece.

    Born in Kentucky on April 12, 1874. Golsch settled in Los Angeles as a young man. An engraver and draftsman by profession, he painted watercolors and oils in his leisure . He died in Sherman Oaks, CA on Dec. 17, 1952. In: Fresno Co. Library (Mission Santa Barbara).
