You’ll be feeling lucky if you snag this buckle made by husband-and-wife duo, Lupeta and George Leekity. The buckle itself may be small but has a big personality. There are 10 geometric turquoise cabochons arranged in a random but cohesive fashion. Speckled throughout the stones are sterling silver drops and it is attached to a brown leather belt. Timeless classic, adding this piece to your collection is a must.
George Leekity (1942-; Zuni). Active since 1970s. Cast work; nugget sets; crosses; silver, gold. George Leekity is married to Lupeta Leekity, the daughter of Horace Iule. Their work is tamped G&L Leekity. They stamp “IULE” on their reproductions of Horace Iule designs.

Lupeta Leekity (1942-; Zuni). Active 1950s-? Lepeta Leekity is the daughter of Horace and Lupe Iule, and the sister of Barney, Cecelia, Phillip, Robert and Ruby Iule. She shares stamps with her husband Geroge Leekity.
