WE’RE GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!

Going a little stir crazy? Let’s go on an adventure! Virtually, of course. We’re having a cyber scavenger hunt!

Like everyone else in the country, we’ve been looking for things to do lately. We’ve also been looking for a way to engage our fabulous community of customers with our fabulous community of retailers – it’s SO important to shop small businesses right now! – so we put on our thinking caps and got creative. What’s more fun than a scavenger hunt you can do without ever even putting on pants? ONE THAT SAVES YOU MONEY ON DOUBLE D! For the next several days, we’re criss-crossing the map chasing clues from store to store in search of surprise sales on Double D spring items.

Here’s how it works: Every day at 9 a.m. (Central) a clue is posted with a little rhyming riddle that directs you to the Facebook page of one our Double D Ranch retail partners. When you get there, you’ll find a “Surprise Spring Sale” item – every store has one Backwoods Barbie item that they are exclusively able to offer at 40% OFF for 24 hours! Then you’ll check back on that retailer’s Facebook page at 3 p.m. that same day to find the next clue. And so on and so forth until we get to the final clue at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5th. Then you’ll want to tune in to the live line launch of the Bakersfield Collection in the Double D Addiction group that evening, because anyone who purchased ANY surprise sale items during the scavenger hunt will be entered into a drawing for one of the $100 gift cards provided by each of the participating retailers or a $500 directly to Double D Ranch! If you purchase multiple sale items, you’ll be entered multiple times. BUT, you must be present to win – so don’t miss it!

The hunt began on Thursday, April 23rd, so if you’re just now learning about it, you’ve already missed a few, but it’s not too late to join the fun! We post the clues on our social media as well, so you don’t need to worry about not being to find the current clue. BUT, if you do want to start from the beginning, you can still find all the clues on our Facebook, you’ll just need to scroll back to April 23rd at 9 a.m. If you’re planning to do that, STOP READING NOW and happy hunting! (We’re going to post the stores we’ve already found in a paragraph below for those who just want to start from here, and we don’t want to spoil it for you!)
