THROW ON A LITTLE LOVE

Hear us out. This is one of those times when it’s actually preferable not to have the real deal. Because otherwise, you can’t really enjoy it. Coco Chanel says, “Luxury must be comfortable. If it isn’t comfortable, it isn’t luxury.” Well, who among us is really comfortable curling up under a genuine fur blanket? Even if it’s soft as all get-out, aren’t you worried about spilling on it or something happening to it? We can’t be risking buttery popcorn hands around something we can’t wash and/or reasonably replace. (Don’t even get us started on kids, grandkids, and pets.)

“Not only do I have multiple in the house, I keep one in the backseat of my car,” Audrey said. “Because it seems like there is constantly someone napping back there.”

IT WORKS WITH EVERY AESTHETIC.

It’s a neutral, it’s universal. There is not a décor style we can picture in a living room where this throw blanket doesn’t work.

“Oh, I have an upstairs throw and a downstairs throw,” laughed Cheryl. “I need one nearby no matter where I am, and it works in every room.”

IT’S SUPER SOFT.

This is kind of self-explanatory. It’s a shame you can’t feel it through a screen because it’s next-level cozy. There aren’t even adjectives adequate for describing this texture.

“You don’t think much about the luxury of a really soft, comfortable blanket until you have to spend 4 solid days under one,” Mitchell said. “It made my COVID recovery period so much more cozy and less miserable. I would alternate between the furry side and the suede-like side, it was the most thoughtful thing for the girls to drop me off one of these blankets, and now I’m obsessed.”

Everyone knows the rules: throw blankets are a non-negotiable staple for couch snuggles and movie nights. And for a lot of us, especially those of us still working from home, throw blankets are an everyday essential. [If I am laying or sitting, you can bet there’s a blanket. I could be taking a nap on the sun and I’m still under a blanket.] Having a fabulous one you can’t wait to reach for just upgrades your quality of life.
