    Authenticity is always in style.

That’s what drew us to the artwork of fellow Fort Worthian, Teal Blake.

Originally from Montana and raised surrounded by ranching country, Teal grew up truly living – and loving – the lifestyle that would one day become the subject of almost all his artwork. As he states in his bio, Teal’s “love for the tradition of ranching and cowboying is unparalleled, and his portrayal of ranch life and the handful of people keeping it alive is an authentic one. No models, no costumes, simply being fortunate enough to work and ride alongside his friends and muses; he is able to capture his material and inspiration first-hand.”

We recognized and respected that attribute immediately, and it compelled us to commission some of his creations into this collection. While not (by definition) a true collaboration, we are honored to have the opportunity to showcase some of his work. He has a good grasp on illustrating the relationship between horse and rider, which is very hard to do. He’s the real deal, and it shows in his art.

Check out more of his work on his website, TealBlake.com, and follow him on Instagram @tealcokeblake.
