SEEN ON THE SCENE: NFR 2024

We’ve always been present at NFR in outfits and accessories, but this is the first year we really had a curated presence (shout out to our social media guru, Leann Wenske!) in terms of snapping and sharing via some pretty fantastic fashionistas!

We loathe the word “influencers”, so we’re not going to call them that, but these ultra-cool cowgirls were decked out in DDR and driving all sorts of traffic to the site and the store as they took to social medias to share their styles from Vegas! Full disclosure: We coordinated collaboration with these beauties, but essentially gave them creative freedom to suit DDR to their own personal styles – and they did not disappoint!

We showcased some fresh faces and some familiar, including gals like Marijka Hunsaker (@marijka_dam), Tikaa (@totallytikaa), Cara Koh (@tx_cara), and Brianna Purvis-Hall (@brianna.purvis).

And perhaps the most memorable and meaningful for us, was this sweet message from the inspiring and stunning Jane Stewart (@inspiredwithjane):

Last year, while searching for a women's western jacket, I came across the Abilene. The product description instantly captivated me—it featured a vintage black-and-white photo of a fearless cowgirl on a bucking bronc. I thought, “I love a strong woman.”

The past four years have presented challenges as I navigated the loss of my parents and worked hard to overcome depression. Through this journey, I've discovered a deep love for myself, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to uplifting women to be their best selves.

I take great pride in wearing Double D Ranch. This brand is led by women, for women. Their story is a remarkable testament to pursuing dreams, staying true to oneself, and demonstrating that nothing is impossible.
