We are always keen to remember that Jesus is the true reason for the season, but jolly Old St. Nick sure did bring some sweet Christmas spirit to the Stockyards on Friday!
Santa with some of our Double D Gals!

Dear, dear friends of the DDR family, Renee Davis and her husband Gene have a holiday hustle of being the most precious cowboy Clauses (Santa and Mrs.) you’ve ever seen. They got all ‘rigged up’ (as Daddy Doug would say) and brought their contagious Christmas cheer and festivities to Fort Worth on Friday, December 4th from 4-7 p.m. and it was every bit as charming as we’d imagined. We sipped hot cocoa and nibbled on Christmas cookies as we jingled along to some of the season’s signature songs. We were joined by several familiar faces, as well as some tiny little future DDR Addicts who popped by to see the big guy in red.

And, in the true spirit of the season, we included an element of benevolence in the evening – 20% of sales during the event are being donated to the Freedom House of Parker County, a local organization that offers shelter, support, and resources for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

All in all, it was a great event that left us in high, festive spirits!
