Gals, y’all missed a GREAT time! We really didn’t know what to expect for our first of the Rodeo Roundup events, but as always, our Wolf Pack never disappoints.

We kicked off the weekend with a Thursday night social at the Stockyards flagship store with craft cocktails by Blackland Distillery and light bites provided by our very own resident chef, Jack Matusek. We can’t quite put into words what a treat it is to get to spend relaxed, lowkey time in a place we consider a dream come true, surrounded by people we adore – dressed in our designs! Talk about surreal.

We had the oh-so-lovely and talented Julie Asher in the store, showcasing her art and just being a delight. Several of y’all purchased her pieces or commissioned a special one of your own, and that thrills us to no end – we promise you will be so glad you did!

Speaking of beautiful things, we were so fortunate to have Federico Jimenez provide us with an influx of inventory for a little while! If you’ve seen his work, you know that he creates some of the most extraordinary contemporary pieces in the most vibrant color combinations. And if you haven’t seen his work in person, you need to! Everything he does is sleek and chic and stunning. He graciously allowed us to offer 25% OFF all of his work through the weekend and we are so thrilled some of our Wolfies are now decked out in new jewels. [P.S. If you scored something from the sale, share a pic with us in Double D Addiction!]

Of course, a huge thank you to our incredible Fort Worth team and everyone who made the trip to lend a helping hand – even if it was really just to play dress up in all that fabulous Federico! – and to Blackland Distillery for the fabulous drinks and Cowboys & Indians for always being marvelous media partners.

Having FOMO? You should be! But you can join us next week for an incredible trunk show featuring jaw-dropping jewelry that combines a girl’s best friend with a cowgirl’s true love – diamonds and turquoise!

“Ok, here’s how this came about,” Cheryl laughed (there’s always a story with this one…) “I have always been looking to combine turquoise and diamonds. I found this one ring and was so drawn to it, it doesn’t look like anything else I have in my jewelry box. So, I bought it and wore it home and purposely didn’t say anything to Mom or my sisters, because I wanted to see their genuine reaction and whether they liked it as much as I did. Well, sure enough, I wasn’t home a whole five minutes before those diamonds and that turquoise caught Audrey’s eye, and she goes, ‘Let me see that ring you’ve got on…’ and she put it on and has yet to give it back! True story.”

So, we are bringing in a bunch of rings and some tennis bracelets – which Cheryl always hated in the past, but with the vintage turquoise mixed in, she loves them with her Southwestern jewelry. All the pieces are custom made out of Santa Fe, and ladies, you’re going to fall in love like never before. You really don’t want to miss this one!

And, if you missed Julie Asher, don’t fret – you’ll get a second chance to meet this lovely lady the following weekend, February 2nd through 4th.
